Thanks Hawk, I looked on both the Landstar and leasetolandstar sites but couldn't find the list of terminals. Have a link? Or know what is near IO or GA?

I don't do to many terminals, But here's a quick run down of the ones I've been in. ST Augustine Nice place now that they have redone it, Rockford plenty of parking nice place great people, Grand prairie DUST BOWL! haven't been back since the new terminal has opened. Madisonville KY, Orientation center little to no parking, 2 hotels right there, from what I'm told they will let you park at the shop and pick you up every morning. The shop over there is great good bunch of guys and fair prices. I live not far from there and let them work on my truck. Jeffersonville, tight yard nice people(don't ever go there if your OD) mobile shop guys and a freight liner dealer across the street.
All in all most of the people you'll run into at the terminals are nice helpful people, have never walked out of there with out an answer.

Anyone else know about the other terminals? Or what the new Grand prairie is like?

I was told they have one in Indianapolis also. No idea about it was just told that I could choose to go to orientation at either when the time comes.

The PA one has parking for 5 trucks and is open 9-5. Jefferson is OK, as is St Aug. You don't work here for the terminals, that's for sure. Very few agents have yards anymore now that they don't make the domicile percentage. If they do, you need to ask permission as it's their property, not Landstar's.

Lewistown, PA is in the middle of no where but it's a nice facility. Gotta park your trailer around back.

Agree with you, but when you have a week layover between loads or permit , cranes ect its nice to hang your head someplace safe and sound and not spend a small mint in the TS

I guess? I'd rather be at Commerce GA TA with all the nearby food than Jefferson and the homeless shelter (st aug) is a nice place to grab a shower or do laundry, but that's it. No nearby food just like Jefferson. The tiny one in PA is literally open bankers hours and is mainly just a place to do CABS. If I lived near St Aug, I'd probably park there though.

The new one in Forth Worth (Formerly Grand Prairie) is nice. Completely paved, clean showers, HD TV's, laundry, copy machine, and all kinds of other stuff. Just wish they had something else to eat besides that Whataburger down the street. I have seen some flyers there for Chinese food that delivers.

St Augustine, has some good delivery places and if you bobtail west go under the interstate theres some nice places and cheap down by the Wal-Mart. Now jeffersonville, never stayed there long enough to want dinner
