Can anyone give me the dots stand on this and give a link to the actual law in force?

As far as I now it's the same as me with equipment. 49 CFR 173.220. Also $1m liab. (fuel in any quantity) & CL 9 NB HM on your MCS150. That's for Interstate, Intrastate is different.

Never had anyone question fuel level in 10 years of hauling cars. New cars are usually near empty, while rental car loads are always full.

That's from 173.220. So as long as the fuel tank and related systems are intact, should be no problem.

The Transit Connects come off the boat. We have more of them run out than anything else. Usually just after you bump over a flipper and are next to a post. And then you have to use that stupid funnel the Ford puts in the capless cars...:biggrin_25516:

A few years ago, Hertz worked out a deal with Ford to credit them on each car and put only a few drops of gas in them at the assy. plant. Wen we got big Hertz orders we were always putting gas in them to get them on the trucks.

    Hammer166 Thanks this.
