Out of school training I drove for 9 months and have an avoidable minor accident and one avoidable incident.
My MVR is clean but job reference is bad. No company hires me with bad reference.
I am 45 years old, have family to feed and can't afford to work on minimum wage.
I have had tried many companies but same outcome.
I had given up but after a year and half I feel this is the only job I can make some money.
My question to you guys, is there a way i can get back behind the wheel. I mean anything, even if i have to re-certify or i move to different state and change my license... your profound help will be highly appreciated. thank you God bless you all.

Put your location on your profile;we need to know the hiring area you live in.

You can move as much as you want, but you still need to provide your license info for the last 3 or 4 years, and employment history for the last 10.

Look into local construction companies, garbage haulers, cement companies etc. They tend to be less picky about these things, and they rarely use DAC.You're probably going to have to do labor along with driving,so I hope that's not a problem? Knock on doors until your knuckles are bleeding. Explain to guy doing the hiring exactly what you just typed here. Me thinks if you do this, you're going to be pleasantly surprised.Good luck and hang in there.

local companies, if you want regional or otr. look for small mom and pop companies.
stay away from megas. they're not worth working for. as you can already tellRiz70 Thanks this. -
The biggest problem you are facing is the fact that you have two accident/incidents in the past 12 months. Most people will allow two in the past 3 years...find something (anything) temporarily if you have to, and wait for the first accident to become older than 12 months.

All I can say is, would you want to put driver who has drove 9 months and wrecked twice in your $300,000+ investment? I sure as hell wouldn't. You obviously have problems. Controlling 80,000 look how long I've drove with no incidents. You need to go to school or leave the industry.

that's not very helpful advice
