Got delayed by Breakdown issue by 2 hours.

Here's a tip for the new crop.
If you have a trailer with a bad enough air leak, at the rear of trailer you can hear it at the front of the truck: CALL BREAK DOWN and report it!!!
Do your job and don't just Drop Hook it at the Customer, leaving it for next driver!!!

Don't do your job and an equipment failure could get you or someone else killed!!!

So don't be lazy, or worse; do your DUTY!!!

 

For those wondering, a Brake Chamber was leaking 60 Psi in 6 minutes. Could hear it at drivers seat with engine off.
Called BD, they had a repair shop 2 miles south of customer. Asked if I could limp it in. I could move it, since wheel was still disengaging brake. Limped it in 20 mph in.

Whole Lotta fun.

 

Getting loaded in Effingham then up to Appleton for a new clutch safety switch. Be good everyone

 

here at Tom's truck stop outside of Baltimore a.m. Delivery. then pick up a load in Virginia and head to Rockford thank God I hate East Coast

 

Parked at the Loves on I29 outside of Fargo, ND. 6 am delivery then deadhead 330 miles for a load of scrap headed to Green Bay another 300 miles.

 

Gary Yard till Saturday morning.
Was at the Grant St. Petro, but was rescued by my
FM and a driver.
Had 7 mins on my clock for week, asked if they could send the company car and a driver, to drive my truck rest of way.
Load complete. Job done.

Now to get Gary to fix bunk ac.

 

Parked at the KT I90/94 ex 69 Mauston, WI headed for GB in the AM

 

at i 80 Ravinia rest stop.free shower then deliver in rockford tomorrow afternoon.although by the end of tomorrow I will have 4 free for pilot Flying J showers.

 

I'm resetting here too, thinking about firing up the grill tonight, let me know if u want a steak....on me, you've been getting beat up lately.

 

Launching out in the morning. Picking up a relay in Cottage Grove, then off to Dallas for Monday. Love an 1100 mile run right out of the house.
