There is a small tab that looks like a sheet of notebook paper to the bottom right of the screen on the qualcom gps, if you click that you can read all the notes about the load before you are surprised by them at the last second.

Very good info. I didn't know about that tab. I second that about this forum being great for info.

I'm going to try it out in the morning. Thanks!

Hey doc, lepton or anyone else if u take the road ready course u can get a nice tool box and other gear for stuff like that including a crowbar and a hose to air tires off your brakes...check that class out at a terminal sometime....

If you are talking about the online course where you get a certificate in order to get the $80 tool box, I took that course when I tested out last year, went with the certificate to the parts department in Jurupa Valley, and was told they discontinued the Road Ready Tool Kit! Later I saw the tool kits they still had in stock at another terminal and IMVHO thought that I saved $80 (I was told it was $80). Much of the contents are replacement parts that are free at any parts department at a terminal.

The best tool in that tool kit was the 40' hose, but it was the PVC type. I opted to pay the extra $10 for the nonkink neon hose at a truck stop ($40 IIRC), which was money well spent last winter when the temperatures regularly got down to 0ºF.

Remember when I first took mine, right after it started I thought it was great. Even at the time we were getting a small fan for the sleeper.
