Okay people use your common sense. I know the majority of us have it but trainers train your people on this. After unload I headed up to the Pilot in Jackson. As I pull in the QC goes off. I park and go over it. Pickup is tomorrow at 1300 local time, 193 miles away just south of Nashville. Going over everything and deciding whether to head out or just stay here the night (this all was at 1645 eastern). Picking up at a foods place going to BH in Brooklyn for 0230 Fri. Figuring Kimberly left I called the main line. Ended up getting Brian. I told him 1) I have a dr's appt that I have to be home by 0600 and 2) I have a van not a reefer. He says it's might be a packaging load and he will get someone to work on a swap tomorrow. Why don't I believe any of that.

Going go over the load a little more carefully I see there is a high temp and low temp. So I call the shipper. Finally get ahold of shipping. Asked them if I give them my pickup number if he can tell me what it is. He didn't have either pickup number I was given. Well that is par. Told him where it is going and he said it is definitely a reefer load. So I call back and get ahold of Kimberly. Told her I'm sure this is a reefer load and I have a van. She said they put that on me by mistake and they are working on something else. Why am I not confident of that? Oh well wasn't really planning on delivering the one I had until the morning anyway.

i have my hometime in from the 15-17 available 18. Stay out 4 weeks but only take 3 off. After thinking about it if they can't get me in on Fri I'll see if I can move my appt to Mon. Not gonna tell them that as they need to do their job. I tell them I'll make on-time delivery and I do. You tell me hometime is entered into the system and you should make sure it happens.

I did my drop in SLC as scheduled yesterday morning. Then I got a message to switch loads with a solo driver to bring to Sumner Washington for today at 7am. 855 miles, we left SLC at 11am local time and was pulling into the gate here at Costco DC AT 6:15. While getting checked in my reload info came across the QC. I need to load in Aberdeen Wa this afternoon going to Henderson Nv for Friday. Then I'm quite sure down to Colton for a load. Oh, I just got the green light here at Costco, all of 45 minutes to unload a whole trailer. This is a great company to deliver to, anywhere in the country, that's why my wife and I are members and give them our business, unlike that disgusting company out of Arkansas.

Hmmm...Uturn. sounds like ssdd. Here too. Must be nice to be one of the drivers that are a priority. Let's just say there are 3 days left in the pay period and I'm sitting at 3800 miles. Home time is Monday and Tuesday this time. Sat so long every day this pay period I'm worn out.

Boy, what a day. Got empty early, got my reload early, had a 100 mile deadhead straight to the ocean to load in Aberdeen. Get here at 11am for a 5pm p/u appt. It was pointed out to me that I was early. I said I know but I loaded here once before and knew they had parking to hang out at. The dude in the office said to hang out a while and they would get me after lunch. Cool said I, after lunch to them was being backed in at 4:45pm for my 5pm appt. At least I have a noon appt in Henderson on Friday.

Yikes, you better get delivering. The load I took up to Alberta was luck of the draw. Only had 2 teams with a passport that weren't available. When I wrote up the load assignment I didn't know the total miles. Seems like on some of the Canada loads they have to manually do the miles so what was shown was 2100 miles but in actuality is about 3000. Made it Fri morning enough to get a return run if it worked out smooth. Sitting at the Wythville yard now. I'll see Steve in the morning and see what he has that I can drag to Richmond.

Yoda got a new truck. Watch out he never had a brand new one in his short two years of driving. Wonder what type of truck he will be in next summer? Anyways yoda please be safe going out to Washington.
