Well they got rid of the brunette hottie and now you have to deal with the regular office staff. If you are picking up make you have your tractor and trailer numbers, pick up number, cell phone in your hand. Don't be surprised if you find about 4 drivers in front of you waiting at the window like I did today.

Arriving at 3 pm and you will have an automatic 15-30 min wait. That's when "Miss Thang" goes for her smoke break and is in no hurry to get back.

Bottled water places and food warehouses were the worst.
Nowadays for me picking up at SDV or dropping at one or two airlines and Panalpina.
OR picking up or dropping at Ceva!!!!

Any place that needs a lift gate, but don't pay for one... And expect one to come. People always ask me if I got one and I just say I'm the lift gate.

FOOD PLACES.... ALLLL OF THEM. Said it before and will again. What makes them so special they don't have to restock or unload their own freight. Got into a screaming match with one place last week. Do t think I'm welcomed back but I could care less.

And Sally beauty's. All inside deliveries, small areas where 48s don't belong. Especially one in garden city, 100 foot walk to the door, and the nastiest staff EVER. There 3 where they are actually decent, and all good looking too. Heck on of them even has staff during the scheduled delivery time to help unload.

    All walmarts... Enough said

Hospitals, small areas, and different sections.

The list can keep going, just too lazy to type

Happened to me at 5 of my 8 deliveries today lol. One can come up with some creative ways to get stuff off a trailer sometimes.

Bronco winery in Ceres. The security guards are all over zealous aggressive types who confuse the guard shack with a military post. Rules, rules and more rules. Then mr Franzia the owner comes zooming behind you in his $486,000 Mercedes , right into your blind spot as you are backing into the dock. He's got to fire a few people so you gotta wait. Then you have to stand guard like the buckingham palace guards in the warehouse as they unload you. No cell phone use either. No Flappy Bird or Splashy Fish or Facebook to entertain you. Stand at attention as they load or unload you.

Starbucks at stony brook hospital is the worst... Minimum 3 hours if lucky. All of deliveries in Nassau are a pain. Tiny streets. But still garden city Sally is the worst of them all. Levittown and centereah are the best ( because of the hot girls there)

alsp forgot target. And Blackman plumbing in Huntington. Gave the guy some, words today, went crying to his boss who ended up taking my side LOL.

Go-Jo is one of them high security places. Drivers are not allowed inside the warehouse. If ya have a roll up door you better check to see if they used the cargo bars. On one Friday they were the last load of the day and I was returning some items and a stack of old pallets from their HQ. They get done and I head back to the yard. On Monday I arrived at my first stop and discover that not only did they leave the old pallets on they forgot to reload my cargo bars. Thankfully I had 4 ratchet straps.

The dispatcher had to reroute me back there so I could recover them and it totally screwed up my whole day.
