Wish my load out of Dunedin was 15k. 43plus in the box and a -10 continuous definitely gotta keep an eye on the reefer fuel gauge. Jaso, love what you wrote. HTQ, you too. With all the crazy crap going on, its easy to lose sight of the fact that we do still live in a great country as least an aesthetically beautiful one. Traveling about and meeting new people is the beauty of trucking. And trucking is a microcosm of that. Sure, their is crap to put up with, but at the end of the day, I can't think of much I'd rather be doing. God Bless America!!

Now, time to get something to eat and get a shower and ready for an 0330 departure of 29012 bound for Rogers Minnesota. I think, I am finally going to make it there. Monday. Woohoo!!

I agree 90 across Montana is beautiful. Also Couer d'lene is a slice of heaven especially if you catch it at sunrise or sunset. Haven't been out that way in a couple of years.

Dennisroc, where are you hiding? You haven't been around lately. Hope everything is ok with you & your family.

Looks like rain heading coming in NC today or tomorrow. Good driving conditions now, overcast, no bright sunlight. Of course, for those of you driving, it's also a bad thing, because it's good sleeping weather too! Be safe and enjoy God's beautiful countryside wherever you may roam. :biggrin_25520:

Today is a do nothing day for me mile wise. Getting unloaded in Lakeland now and my preplan loads at 2215 tonight at Saddle Creek. Drop and hook at the Target in Cedar Falls. I would like to run harder but I'm sitting at 60 hours on my 70 and don't gain hours back til Tuesday and then I will be set.

^ The shipping office seems chill and informal but the older guard at the gate huffs and puffs and throws himself around like an exasperated 14 year old girl if you show up early for a pick up. I wonder if you call the shipping office, if you can arrange an earlier pick up time. If not a firm earlier pick up time, maybe permission to show up and wait on stand-by, to load at their convenience, is how I would express it on the phone. I will try to call and not just show up way early like I did last time at Saddle Creek.

You'se guys told me TransAm does not like to send people on routes near a driver's home address. I posted before how I always used to get sent past my home address. Turns out you'se guys may have been right. It has been almost 2 months since I rode by my home address so not having the disk has worked out.

I will have to put in a home time request at the end of this month if something does not change.

Are you in blue jeans & a black baseball cap? Guy dressed like that was just eyeballing me as he walked by my truck in the Sapp Bros. parking lot.

I was at the J but now I am in Harmony, Pa. my delivery time is for tomorrow 0730 but Cranky and another driver told me I could park here. Then I checked on google maps just to be sure and so I am checked in and they said be ready an hour early. I wear a STL ballcap and shorts. Was not at Sapp, maybe that guy liked you. LOL
