So now to get back to why I bought this truck and trailer.

    2014-08-16 21.22.18.jpg
I initially bought them to haul small square bales from the field to the barn. All was good until I stumbled upon this sight. Then listening to you highway haulers make the trucking bizz look soo kool, I just had to jump in. So yes, Its all your faults! Have a nice weekend all.

Cetane, question for you. Your hauling wheeled freight, but I see no ramps. Does your shipper provide ramps usually? or maybe you have them stashed somewhere I don't see? thanks

I dont have ramps on this trailer. I was going to mount some but I have found so many loads that have there own loading docks I dont need them. The little roller was loaded with the JLG, and I was backed up to there dock so it drove on next. I hauled a hyundai 130 excavator from GA to KY, that guy just dug a hole and piled up the dirt to make a ramp to climb on the trailer. The other end was more fun, when his father drove it up a bank I backed up to. Loading equipment that is not yours gets harry when you load unload with out ramps or a dock. Take a skid steer, you use the bucket to get the front wheels up on the 36" high trailer and then hook two chains to forward D rings and lift the arms to pull the rear up and then drive it on the rest of the way. Excavators are a cinch. Just lift up one end of the tracks, drive onto trailer, spin around and lift then finish driving. Its funny how some think this is dangerous but, its far safer than when you use it to cross a huge and deep trench when your digging. You really can get away with all kinds of things when you need to get it loaded. I have been doing things wrong for over 20 years so, unfortunately I have already done it the wrong way and keep doing it wrong to this day. :headbang:

Until you get 20k hrs in one. Well, it wasn't fun any longer after about 5k hrs. Then it was peaks and valleys of fun. :biggrin_25520:

I guess they are like anything if you do it everyday it gets old. I have one for personal use for clearing some land that im planning on building on, only wish it had high flow so I could rent a forestry mulcher.

    Mattnatti Thanks this.
