Alright, I met with my trainer today. We talked and he showed me where I get to stow my things while on the truck with him. As usual, the trainee gets the top bunk, and I am 6 ft 3 and clumsy. Is there a set way to getting into the top bunk in a Cascadia? I'm afraid my trail and error could break something, possibly me lol. Any ideas are very welcome and much appreciated.

Wild Murphy and bergy Thank this. -
I am 5' 3"... so, what I did was I had to first step on the edge of the bottom bunk so I could step on the cabinet step behind the driver seat... then stretch across to reach the cabinet step behind the passenger seat... I use to reach behind to that little cubby hole to pull myself up...
I did hear of one trainer that either bought or mad a little ladder, a bunk bed ladder, for his students...Kickstand-117 Thanks this. -

And I would honestly love to see this process. It shows the resourcefulness of someone that wants to go to bed. -
just ask your trainer where to step. If you want to sound helpful you can say something like "Hey Mr/Ms Trainer Person where would you like for me to step so I don't mess up your bed."

I'm just trying to keep from looking like an idiot in front of him when it comes to getting in my bunk. -
You are there to learn so I would say ask any question you need to ask. You can also ask him/her what you can step on so you don't break anything.
Big Don Thanks this. -
Set up a camera and make sure it is your first attempt. Don't worry about falling, or otherwise looking silly - that will just help us identify the problem areas.
Some Benny Hill type music playing in the background may also help.GWIZ2260, Clyde07, SMTatham and 1 other person Thank this.
