That is going to suck pretty bad. I will probably join Prime driving slower. Better to be the one being passed and have a little following distance than to be stuck behind some road raging neutered super trucker.

What's a lightweight Cascadia? One of those tiny sleeper things? I feel sorry for people that have to live for weeks at a time in one of those doing 57mph. And you people still defend this LOL

I remember when I had that 77mph daycab, the pay wasn't that good (40 cpm) but my god going that fast made me so much money. And got me home every day.

I find it quite sad people defend companies like Prime when there are way better jobs out there.

And there are FAR worse companies out there too. When I was there, the checks were always correct, and on time. I never had to use my own money for anything, and wait to get reimbursed. I stayed there long enough to pay them back for my CDL training and I got out. After I left, I found out just how good I had it there. The next 2 places were crooked and expected me to run illegally, and another one would rarely pay on time. Once I finally hit 2 years of experience, the jobs available greatly improved. But for a new driver starting out, there are much worse places to drive for than Prime. Obviously the people that stay there are happy. There are not nearly as many anti Prime threads started by disgruntled employees as there are ones from CRE, Swift, and CRST. Most Prime drivers seem relatively happy compared to the other mega carrier/training companies.

I'm pretty sure the misunderstanding about prime truck speeds of due to their huge lease program. I think their company trucks are operated at 59. Lease operators can drive faster, but I'm talking 65, not the 75 they used to run lol.

Also on the subject of slower traffic being less safe, my two cents is that that's true to a point. It needs to be severely slower, and allot tired into visibility. A few states DMV test use that as a truck question, which causes more accidents slower drivers or faster drivers. Answer being slow traffic, but that doesn't necessarily apply to trucks. We are pretty visible, and if you are doing sixty give or take in a seventy, probably you're in the right lane, if you're twenty under because of a climb or something you have Flasher's on. My opinion is that prime having slightly slower speed is perfectly safe, and in no way impeding traffic if they are in the right laneb for speed. I believe doing two or three miles less then flow of traffic is safest bet for trucks, the 4 wheelers just want to pass you regardless of your speed, and if your slightly lower you keep plenty of space in front of you
