Prime trucks really aren't stripped down aside from having a 10spd and the stock seats. Have you looked inside/outside one? Are you drunk?

If you working for anything less than .36 cpm with 1 plus years of exp is crazy maybe a new student but i have heard of people starting out at .28 cpm which is amazing and wrong IMO for so many reasons. Give me a slow truck at 60 mph for 36 cpm any day over a fast truck at .32 cpm

    MsJamie Thanks this.

I'm a Reefer driver, I see them all the time.
I was in murfreesboro at general mills, Americold plant on Monday.. there must have been around 7 Prime trucks parked to the left and right of me.

There are many people whom do it, as in drive for low pay... why? I don't know.
    Too scared of change perhaps?

I met a CR england driver recently that was with them 1 1/2 years and was at .29CPM
Werner driver I met 3 months ago with less than a year at .26CPM

I told him he'd make .44 at Shaffer and he did make the change
Everybody complains CR England is terrible.. 100% not even kidding

Tried a little experiment so I set the cruise on 53 in a 65 zone and did 33 miles miles home.......(did stay in the right lane)

Got passed by a prime l/w....... Doing 57.

I"m not sure I could do it everyday.....

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe those pay numbers are no longer current. They had a 1CPM across the board raise a few weeks ago, and I'm pretty sure those are the previous rates. There is also an extra 5CPM for being on the NE regional fleet, and an opportunity for at least a 6CPM fuel bonus. So if you're in a lightweight truck, on the NE fleet, and get excellent fuel mileage, your potential pay directly out of training is 0.54 per mile.

No, I'm saying they are not stripped down like alot of the fleets out there

Most fleet trucks have minimal gauges and don't spec fog lights. not to mention other things Prime adds on. how many fleets use enclosed headache racks for flatbed?
