Like I said before there is good money in tanking once you have the experience and the record to get on with one of the better companies.

Was looking into regional from Philly. Not enough experience for the Elite Team yet. Evidently they will take students from an approved school if you meet their requirements. I presently have a pre-hire with Schneider Bulk but if Trimac can train me, maybe they would be a better choice??

It's hard to get on with Trimac but if you can yes its a better choice. I enjoyed my time with Schneider but the pay isn't even close.

You mentioned Trimac has it's quirks. I just wondered what they are even if they are easy to just overlook because everything else about them is good.

Oh gotcha. The quirks are that the equipment isn't set up as well as Schneider, no bleeder valves on the discharge, hose tubes instead of trays for the most part, some trailers having neither. The Qualcomm system isn't utilized very well. Paper and phone dispatch system. It's hard to keep track of miles because your washout is never on your paperwork. Really, really strict e logs. The way you write up accessorial pay is strange, there is no confirmation, you just have to check your paycheck. Finally, the branch system is strange, every branch is like there own company. Maintenance is hit or miss depending on the terminal.

Now none of this is a big deal, just a nuisance. Coming from Schneider it's a world of difference. I don't want to sound like a complainer I'm just telling you how it is.
