How do you pass time during periods of waiting? I'm bored, I read...I sleep, I read ...I sleep, I read ... I sleep. Anyone have other ideas?

Go for a walk, around the grounds. You get some exercise and it burns the time.

ITs what i do, when I can.
Obviously, at some shippers or receivers, its just not safe to do.
With heavy equipment on the move or overhead items potentially causing dangerous situations.

But for the most part, it is possible to get out and walk around. Or take a small pedal bike with you to ride around the block. Maybe into town, depending on how long you're going to be there.

    hal380 Thanks this.

While doing this, pick up litter and pull weeds. Another way to kill time is march around with a broom and pretend you're a member of the USMC Silent Drill Platoon.

Put in an inverter, surge protector/power strip, 19" TV and a xbox one or ps4. Playing video games will burn up free time quickly.
