Well guys I just finished my first hitch. I had so much trouble keeping hydrated and rigging down was no joke for me lol. At one point I couldn't feel my hands anymore lol. I guess it will just take time to get used to since I have no prior outside labor. The equipment is ok, most trucks don't have AC and most only run up to 55 mph haha. I also found out I have trouble catching my breath while wearing dust mask and shoveling sand back into conveyer belt :/ maybe just panicking because I am out of shape and felt suffocated because I couldn't get fresh air anywhere near the sandstorms. But overall it's 90 percent easy until you have to rig up or down. I haven't rigged up because I spent most of the day driving all hazmat equipment back to the yard and getting chemicals refilled. ;)

I guess it all depends on yards...all the equipment besides the tractors are designed by Halliburton from what I heard...the yards in laredo and mission closed down so all the equip was sent to sa

The rig up gets easier. My first one sucked balls. Nearly passed out. Rigging up tonight and I am manhandling iron and hoses.

Just be safe and don't let macho hicks push you to do anything beyond your capabilities and get hurt.

As for hydration your body will adjust. Make sure you are drinking and eating enough as well as replenishing electrolytes

That's exactly how I felt, I was like man I need a break before I pass out. My treater is cool. He doesn't mind us taking breaks when we need them.

That comment was for someone else my bad..

u should drink 3 water bottles to 1 electrolyte drink...at halliburton they supply us with these lil one drink pouches of powder called squench which u put in ur water bottle, mix and drink...i guess ur company didn't train u on dehydration...only way to know is monitor your pee...clear pee, ur good. Yellow pee, ur dehydrated...once u get to the point where ur severely dehydrated, there's not way back....be safe
