    Only made the deal for the trucks & the trailers which they're getting rid of anyway... Something tells me that article isn't telling the full truth... This looks more like a deal just to snag the contracts up

    Said they hoped to retain drivers by offering newer equipment....

    said nothing about whats important to drivers...

    Yeah who really cares about your equipment I mean it's nice and all but the paycheck to the bank account is what counts... So it on just another one of those companies have to lie to get drivers in the door because if they actually told the truth they would have nobody

    Yep, equipment (Trucks) were nicer than any trucks Celadon has anyway.
    Their Trailers might be nice, never really looked that close at their (Reefer) Trailers.

    Put a Tweet out after I couldn't find any news on it
    Got back to me this morning.
    Guess that's all they're 'officially' saying.

    I'm in Carthage, Ms. at Tyson loading for Wally World in Sterling, Ill. for wednesday AM delivery... Perha[s they will bounce me in from there...

    Yes, I expect the main reason was to acquire the customer base... The base cutomers are stellar companies!!! I expect there are more than 200 trailers involved, probably closer to 300... There are only 20 or 30 tractors that are CARB compliant, and likewise only a few trailers that are... I would be surprised if they are able to retain more than 50 or 60 drivers... The big issue involves the less than forthcomming nature on how the drivers are being handled when FRE has always been pretty up front on everything...
