Yeah i see what your saying! I can't make as much that way tho. Seems to be easier to schedule loads around a 480 to 540 (8 to 9 hrs) mile day to me.

I usually will end up with a whole day or half day off anyway. Depending on the load gods! Feel pretty much relaxed most of time and have plenty of time to run my loads. That's just me. Plus I can usually get back home now in a timely manor and do my 34 if I like. So 2 or 3 weeks running off recap isn't that bad to me.

I like your idea of getting your work done in 5.5 days tho..That is awesome!

Hmm, you know actually I'm more prone to think like TennMan but I've gotta say I like your approach. 500 miles a day is a great average and you don't have to stress over minor delays and worry about pushing your 11 hour clock every day. I like it!

Thank you! yeah works great for me cause I always seem get that load that takes 5 hours to get loaded or, traffic, flat, road closure or some other crazy sh%t. This way I don't have worry.. still have time get my load there on time etc..if I have to run 11 to get my load complete I can and still keep working off my recap by going shorter 1 day in the week. Makes my life more enjoyable out here and I seem to make good...So that is cool!

I did an experiment last week. For the first time i ran on my recaps for a week. I ran less miles, but my net was the same. To be honest its harder to run on your recaps, you constantly have to be on the computer to put loads together. Not many drop and hooks , when running short miles. I like running on a restart, that way i dont have to stay in a certain area... Like the Northeast lol

Wasnt i supposed to post pictured for you?? Im gonna post those asap the ones i took are during the move in phase it was chaos in there. I'll retake some tomorrow if it ever stops raining so i can also get exterior pictures.

Its running pretty good runs stronger than i expected. I am averaging something like 8.3 mpg all 5 of the loads of run have been under 30k but ive run quite a bit of mountains in pa. The best mileage i got was between Chesapeake va and new hampshire i stayed right around 9mpg until i got fuel and decided to drop the hammer The 9mpg is based on the trip computer not my own calculations.
Mine is a 2015 with 76inch sleeper. it had i think 600 something miles when i got it im at 4400 now. I dont mind at all i believe in us all helping each other out. Me being successful means nothing if i cant help others be successful also

Thank you for your reply. Yes, you did post some pics of it awhile back, I just didn't see the details on the year, mileage, etc.

Any chance you could share some interior pics?

I'm curious, if I wanted to fit a larger bed in the sleeper, do you know the maximum length and width area available in the bed area? (If not, don't worry about it - I can ask somewhere else)

    Thanks again for sharing

I just might have picked one of the crappiest loads ever! Left home dropped trailer at marshalls Bridgewater sunday and darngonit the had space it wasnt packed like a tuna can there buuuuut they had no empties. I was headed for High point North Carolina so the stop me by Target to get one no biggie. I get to running down 29 and realize i havent driven at night yet.. I need to adjust these headlights they arrrreee reallly really bad worst than i thought. Then it starts raining to make things worse. So i Get to the location to pick up the trailer and its a dirt lot... dirt lot plus rain equals what??? You got it kids mud. First thing i see is tire tracks from someone who clearly got stuck .

So i drive the opposite direction around the yard and drop my mt and go to find my loaded. I find it buuuuuut there is trailer less than 2 feet away on the left and right and the space ahead of my trailer may be 35 feet across.

I spend the next HOUR in the rain moving all threee trailers a couple feet at a time getting stuck multiple times ,filthing up my truck and just ruining my night until i can finally get my trailer out of the hole. If that load didnt pay 1.73 a mile for 700 something miles including d/h iwouldve lost my mind and tossed back. I delivered it to seacacus nj which was simple. I really think im going to enjoy this IC deal. Im home now taking my reset about to search the board for a good starter load
