I'm driving a 2014 Volvo day cab, natural gas fuel. It has self-canceling turn signals.

The first 6 years I drove I had trucks that did not have self-cancelling turn signals. I switched to another company that did spec their trucks with them. Out of habit, I'd still hit the lever after turning and ended up going down the road with my signal flashing the opposite of the way I had just turned.

Just one more thing to quit working several times in the life of a truck. Then you get to pay $100 plus an hour to fix it.

swapping mechanisms is an easy fix.
and they work so well on the FL's. they flip back to neutral but the light activates the other side before shutting off for good.
the ignition switches work real good too. i can't beleive the tumblers haven't broke in mine yet. all our new trucks have that problem.
