Like what? Examples? I honestly have no interest in talking to other drivers. All they do is complain. I avoid truckstops except to shower or park. I get my job done and go home.

    GenericUserName and Brandson Thank this.

Then why are you here? Did you think there weren't drivers on a website called "The Trucker's Report"?

Amen. This is just a job. Get it done, make money, go home. Most of the guys around truck stops aren't the brightest bulbs in the knife drawer...

Honestly, there are plenty of vets on here that give some bad advice based on good ol' boy nonsense with no merit, s o telling me you've done this for 20 years is not proof that you're right on everything.

Here I was hoping for an example of what I could learn. I love learning stuff.

You can't argue with these guys. Well, you can. And it's entertaining for a little while, but they're just gonna bring up the same invalid points again and tease you for not driving as long as then. I'm pretty sure those old trucks shook their heads too much and had more CO2 leaks.

You know what's really funny, is I was driving for a living (and writing code) when these guys were still swimming up daddy's vas deferens hoping to find momma. But I'm just this dumb old dude who doesn't know how to set up his GPS. LOL! Hell, my first laptop is almost as old as these guys!

I'm not knocking you guys for being young or inexperienced, I'm knocking you for acting like a dang teenager who already knows everything and refuses to listen. There's plenty of old drivers who don't know squat, too. And y'all are headed right down that path. And further convincing me I'm wasting breath every time I leave my normal hangouts.
