Con-Way Truckload Drivers: What's Your 20? (2014 edition)

Call me captain super trucker.

So called that laredo preplanned load.(after this one)

Took the scenic route thru Delaware forest.

Waved at topton on 222.

Those roads seemed gigantic compared to 402 truck off of I 84.

Had to stop for turkeys twice and deer once.

Lots of blind curves and hills. That In75 is childsplay compared to it.


Quite the fun drive now that its over. Sure as hell beats sitting thru interstate bottlenecks.

Got 9.9 mpg and cut off 17 miles from all the slow speed. Suck a big one Paul. I had a trailer!

 

Got me a trl now . ?... rescued a load in Lexington KY at KW dealer...... going over by St. Louis MO , gotta call FM in AM ( see what I did there!) Cause BOL says ship to El Paso TX ......hmmmmmm sounds better than MO

I'm at 8.9 mpg over 1150 miles, and im 250 miles from h/d ..... in Leavenworth IN Pilot , Cargo Country!

 

Naw that's low gear country. (Think he said he was from haubsted) Though holiday world does sound nice.

Was another rear end to rear end semi on us 31 attempting to get around the 65 mess.

Its gonna be like that for the next 2 years......help us all.

Don't think there's anything in Leavenworth but a prison. Lotsa pretty country girls in lanesville/Corydon though.

Have gotten muddy with quite a few.

The joys of Baltimore and DC rush hours under a hit load ....think 130 will be my friend. Or was it 310....hell idk who needs maps....just go that way!

 

Any of you ever taken that tunnel from Delaware to Chesapeake bay va?

Looks tempting. Conway pay for that toll? Can we even fit?

301 depends on wind if we can go across.

 

You can go that way , no hazmat of course 13'6 I think in tunnels , might be pre pass or cash

 

How are you seeing your mpg so far. You're calculating it yourself?

 

In El Paso waiting for relay due by 0600. I can't drive till 7 anyways. Works out perfect. Going to Indianapolis with this one.

Crunch is dang good but I'm fine with a krackel.


....wonder if I walk in a mask on Halloween if the ship will give me one? Hold out and give me a Mr goodbar that's grounds for taking the toilet paper out the bathroom and turning their car side mirrors into mummies. Yuck.
