Is the residual value at the end of a SFI lease term set in stone or is it dependent on mileage? I do like some of the numbers that I am hearing for Freightliners.

 

Say you do a 1 year lease. At the end of that year do have to turn the truck in or could you renew the lease for another year or longer?

 

Another observation I have which mind you I do not have access to the load board, is that a major disadvantage to having a higher weekly truck payment would hinder your ability to be more patient in choosing not to run CHEAP freight. Granted you would have fixed costs regardless, but I would assume that there is a fine line between being in control and not having a choice.
