Hi adp2290, I've heard they are a good company too.( that is to say, I haven't heard anything bad) Been around a while. They have a big yard in Allenton, Wis. just off Hwy. 41 north of Milwaukee. Pretty easy to get to.

Kreikamp is not a place to work they are snakes. They call you outside your name give you load that are always late. They should all concerns about what you think and then they tried to screw you over no miles no respect. If they will hold your paperwork so u will get paid what they want you to. They are very controlling people the turnover rate is very very high. So good luck. They also charge youand blame for what they can.

They ship on the railroad. See their trailers on Norfolk Southern.

I would go to the bad company thread and look for the thread about Kreilkamp, I worked local pulling a reefer for Midwest Refrigerated Services, this was around 2010-11. I could tell that the recruiter was not truthfull in his answers about pay and how steady the work was. I just came off of rotator cuff surgery and needed to get back to a job. Worked just 6-7-months and had to quit because of very little work. All the drivers that I meet told me that the recruiter had lied about what I could make a week. Because of the nature of the local work you sat at the docks most of the day. I still keep in touch with a driver there and was told that they do not allow idling at the docks, it does not matter if it's -20 or 100 and humid, the driver now gets docked pay for idling. I hope that I understood him correctly. These are day cabs with no APU's on them. The only positive about them is that they have one heck of a truck maintenance program and it seemed that there model was 1 Million miles on the truck then trade it in. Most of the old Pete's have Cat C-15's in them.

I don't know about the road part as I was local but you are correct about being very controlling people and they do have a high turnover there....
