Might do yer truck good to haul a heavy load DFO, burn off that wetstack carbon you got built up from haulin the 4 whole pounds of Doritos that your use to. Or wait till the snow flys and see if your cables work :p You did do a test fit practice while it was warm right?

Well another one for the WILL NEVER RETURN list - Campbells in Maxton NC. After that load headed up to PA cancelled I booked a load out of here, 25k drop and hook, not bad right?

Show up and live load. Ok no problem, not a big deal.

Go to desk, "uhh we weren't expecting you until 1700."

My load was supposed to be a drop and hook ready at 0100.

    "Oh well we're behind"

Said at least a couple hour wait. And you know what a "couple" means... probably sitting here half of the night.

And we're yet to see if it's actually 25k or not.

I'm kinda pissed about wasting my night here, and if it's something like 44k I might call up SNI and tell them to send someone else to pick up the trailer and refuse to take it. I got screenshots of the weight on the load board and the MCP.

This is why I don't do live loads, ever. This will break my probably 6+ month streak of all drop and hook.

16 hours late isn't "behind". That's entering the "dragging ###" category. I'd be surprised if it was light too. Everything I've ever pulled into there was heavy as ####. Never pulled a load out though so who knows.

    mickimause Thanks this.

Seriously though, won't ever see me back there again.

    Got there at 2200

Load was supposed to be a drop and hook ready at 0100

Turns out to be a live load

Sat waiting and in dock until like 0430 until they finally started loading me

Got out of there at 0530

Load was supposed to be 25k

    Turns out to be 42k

Guys at this place can't load a trailer for crap

Put all pallets as far forward as possible

Tandems slid all the way forward and still just barely under 33.7k on the drives

Oh and I'm at 1/4 tank of fuel

    **** that. Never again.

    stevep1977 and mickimause Thank this.
