How can my wife earn money as a passenger?

If you have internet available she can book airline tickets online/assist/sales?? . Pretty sure you need to be able to be available for phone and web simultaneously. I know of someone who was doing it from home making about $150-200 a week. Im not sure how much work she put into it so YMMV.You can probably google it but if you cant find it i can ask.

OP, I don't think anyone assumed your relationship was same as theirs. Just a few folks around here with probably a little more mileage in life as well as on the road than you have. I wish you the best. Let us know in a year or two how it all worked out.

But seriously, I suppose the only realistic thing she could do is some sort of online business or something. Or if you are running O/O she could deal with brokers and book freight for you and do paperwork/accounting stuff for your potential business. Other than that door knocker is the only other likely possibility.

 

Hell if she can cook! Crock pot electric grill, pre call on the cb when and where for home cooked food! Hell of alot better than j food.

 

Is she scared of driving in general, and how much time has she spent in a truck? A couple of weeks out and the size is not nearly as intimidating as the first time walking up to the rig.

Show her some of those "Allie Knight" and maybe some "Jade and Jon" videos on youtube.. Cute little ladies that handle their trucks just fine.

 

Hey good luck josepholson to you and your wife. Thats something I thought about doing since I started driving. If my local gig gets to be too much, I still might. It must be exciting thinking about the future traveling cross country, sharing new experiences and seeing all the attractions this country has to offer together. Having no based docile eating up monies made may mean more control over where you would like to travel. Whatever you decide I wish you the best. Please let us know how successful your wife becomes in her new endeavor, me and mine just may follow suit.
