Saia advertises that their linehaul drivers are making 70k or more. Do you find this to be true in your experience so far? And as a system driver how are you dealing with the schedule and getting some good sleep?

depending on pay rate, runs range from 55k to almost 90k per year, from what another driver told me. i got 500 or so for 2, maybe 3 days work. coming check will be better cuz the 500 check was because i started late in the pay period.

the last week ive been a system driver. it hasnt been too bad sleep wise, and im pretty much used to it from holland and rl. i get straight to bed asap and sleep as long as i can.

on monday i start my run :) milwaukee-chicago-cottage grove/madison-chicago-milwaukee. 454 miles at 48 cpm plus pay for drops and such, so itll be pretty good.

Thats the good part of working with ltl companies, they pay you for everything you do
working with fedex contractor you only get aid the miles you drive, nothing else
.48/mile to start is not bad

full scale of 56.37 cpm in 18 months. still going very well. lost about 10 pounds with all the running around and getting in and out and muscling the dollies. can really feel it in my chest and arms. getting better and faster with hooking up. starting my run on monday night.

Few more months will appreciate the Blood/Sweat and the upcoming pay increase and benefits. Wouldn't say life altering ( as new born baby ) but good to know it can be a retirement job and proud to say who you work for ( even though ) 95% of america has zero clue what the heck ABF is lol

Estes top pay is .5715. Takes 3 years. Not sure but I believe the only drivers that don't see a min of $70,000 is local drivers.
