I hear from some drivers that have gone on to other companies and most are very complementary to what they learned at Stevens, most agree they would not have landed their present job had it not been for what they learned at Stevens.
I spoke with one last night that has been gone about 6 months now to another company. She went on and on about how great the new job was, but how she is coming to learn how much value was packed into the 2 years she spent at Stevens.
Most drivers tell me they didn't realize it until they see what other drivers can do (or not).
Stevens isn't the place to look for a career. it's a place to START a career.

The things that attracted me to Stevens years ago are still attractive.

Can't knock the training aspect of Stevens. At all.

Whatever happened to the YouTube guy that did all the videos and use to yell Stevens!!!
all the time? Matt someone? -
Lol he's at Prime now. He was in our super secret Facebook group until he started recruiting and basically being an all around ###.
-
Guess he's yelling Prime!!! -
No, that is a different guy, truth is better than fiction in this case.
The guy Power stroke is talking about was coming to Stevens, the Guy Curb is talking about was at Stevens for about 3 years or more and a trainer.
Now the Student, who we will refer to as Steven Spielberg, ended up with the trainer who we will refer to as Cecil B DeMille, and apparently the truck was not quite big enough for both cameras and directors chairs, so Spielberg left and went home while DeMille has moved on to Prime where he continues his cinematic escapades. -

A couple of my roommates from driving school have decided to move on from stevens after completing their year and have faced issues regarding their loan. When attempting to set up payment plans to pay off the balance of the school loan, Stevens has sent their loans to collections and theyre trying to get $5000 from both of them. Anyone else heard of or have any experience with this?

Students who take advantage of it are still on the hook for the training cost which would take about 36 months to repay. It was also in the contract your roomies (and I) had to sign.
