The guy who rear ended me and I both reported that someone came to a dead stop in front of me on the freeway. The police even told me who to contact to get a copy of the video from the camera overlooking the exit but I gave that paper to my boss so he could request one.

Maybe that would be overkill anyway

How long did it take and how much did it cost to get the CDL-B?
    Kroger is a supermarket, btw.

There's a great big wide open country out there just over the river, to the west.
    Checkitout!

That box truck outfit you drove for probably doesn't even know what DAC is.
Consider upgrading to a Class-A license and do your driving outside the city.
Don't put up with the stress of daily city driving and see more of America.
There are schools in NYC to help you upgrade to Class-A or you can go with a trucking company sponsored program training.
If you upgrade through a NYC school then look at NFI in New Jersey for a driving job.
If you want trucking company sponsored schooling and job, then look at Celadon or Southern Refrigerated Transport or Swift; apply at all three. I don't think Prime will hire you since you were fired from your last job.
Get a copy of your DMV and check "Hireright.com" website. Don't put anything on your applications that isn't on those.

Kroger is a crappy grocery company, but not as crappy as A&P in Edison, NJ.

You need to nut up and tell your girl to either stay or go with you. I did that with my wife when I joined the military. She left me for about 8 weeks, realized she was being foolish and needed to grow up. We've been married now for 13 yrs

I got the training for free through a state program for people with disabilities. It took a year just to get the funding approved and then nearly a year to finish the training because they require you to do a lot of hours. I would have gotten the A training but they dont offer it. I couldnt afford the training at the time because I was living on disability for nearly 3 years after my divorce. I caught her cheating and later found out both our children werent mine and I just fell in to alcohol abuse and eventually had a nervous breakdown and was hospitalized. Im fine now and much happier and stable than I was even before I got married.

I may do the A one day but I just cant afford that until im working and then I also have to find the time. I dont know if this will be a lifelong career for me. Now that I dont have a family to support I want to pursue some dreams that I put aside and hopefully only have to bust my hump with a regular job in the short term.

Pa is great for freight, inbound and outbound. You get your A license and you can drive both and your options aren't limited. Much luck to you
