Starting Orientation with carroll fulmer on 10/14/2013

I'm highly considering jumping on board with Carroll fulmer. Can anyone elaborate on the condition of the equipment, average age and condition? Well maintained? Where maintained? Gps? Xm radio, ez pass, pre pass. just trying to find out from a current drivers point of view?

They offered me a position for hauling dry van cargo. Per my discussion with the recruiter they slated a north south route running up and down the east coast which I am quite interested in.

 

Well you defiantly sound enthusiastic about the company which is rare these days so that makes me feel that going with them will be a good move on my end. Gonna look into when will be my best date to schedule orientation and pull the trigger on this sooner then later hope fully.

Yea, I read pretty much every thread that had something to do with them and saw all your posts and others. Obviously a company is not gonna be right for everyone, there is always gonna be that quirk that sets someone off especially on a forum and pending on how they delt with it with the company led to 5ye over all outcome for the situation, but from what I can tell the consensus is pretty positive across the board with fulmer.

 

Inspoke with a recruiter today. Greg I think his name was... Very forward guy. He is sending me an application in the mail.

Hey Nelson74, is it still going well over there at CF? If you haven't been able to tell, we are all kinda depending on you here lol!
The recruiter did seem a little animated yet friendly. No mention of money or anything ( but did mention that it depends on exp.) and I understand that. The drivers I see are either in the seat running or in bed asleep. The last one I spoke to tho was when. First started and he was complaining about the QC and the way they log. I'm not sure why, it just kept saying "it's illegal maaaan" ( with a hippy lull lol). Waiting to hear back from Nelson74 still.

 

Going to orientation on Tuesday. Hope it is a good company.

 

Any current info on Carroll Fulmer? Specifically for myself living out of the Charlotte area?
