McDonalds workers earn more than drivers at CR England
Anyway some places that take noobs and pay okay are Prime, Crete, Tyson foods and Maverick. -
Depends on the hiring area you live in.
Put your location on your profile. -

sorryI just had to
-
Freightwipper I did since they almost never let me take my resets or get home and I had to yell at them to get my truck fixed I know that werner went through a class action lawsuit this year as well

Learn to put up with Crap first.
I hate to say this, but you could have done a lot worse than Wernerbrowndawg Thanks this. -
Them and CR England are the only two companies I've noticed nobody ever says anything good about. Yeah I mean ever.
I did make $1000 bucks when a CR England driver walked up to me he told me he was making .29 CPM, I told him I was making .43 CPM with LESS than a year experience. This guy has nearly two years.
Well he jumped over here shortly after that conversation.
Not that Crete/Shaffer is great, nowhere is great but at least I get paid well here for what it is.
The trucks here are garbage and I run the same lanes a lot even though I'm supposed to be OTR but hey can't have everything. -
I mean low pay and treated lowly.. how much worse can it get?
I do agree with you about putting up with the crap.
As a noob you just have to, even I had to.
It sucked but I knew it would suck to begin and I left my first company once I got some experience. -
I was tranined and did solo in otr and I wouldn't mind doing it again.I want to get paid more than .24 cpm and I know I don't have that much experiance in driving. As long as the truck is a manuel id be good...provided they don't care if I float the gears
-
.24 CPM?!?!?!
FYI Tyson foods pays noob .39 once out on their own http://www.tysonfoodscareers.com/Driving/Over-The-Road-Careers/Trainee.aspx
Prime .43 if you take their smaller truck http://www.primeinc.com/paid-apprenticeship-cdl-training
.24 CPM is a sad joke....
I don't know how they get away with that
