Maybe they'll send you to Laredo to replace the very one's who just stood up and got YOU AND YOUR BARN a raise.
People like you are the very reason trucking is as it is.

 

U and L sub-service has always been very high. It's no different than normal other than the spike for end of quarter end of month.

 

Their is a lot of truth here.
The Laredo country club resort will be an eye opener for the city boys.

 

But what you going to do when your body is worn out from LTL ? Ya can't live on a 401 now can ya ?

 

time to stand up with your buddies and start signing cards!

 

I blame the baby boomers. Horrible generation. My parents sure they worked hard and earned pensions, but they where the last generation to Half ##S support the union and let it die off and jobs go over seas.

I pay ( $55 ) dues each month to the union for 100% medical cost, UPS has teamcare now, Argue all everyone wants. UPS is not top tier company. Sure base pay is top tier, Benefits is like working for CRST or any grocery store employee company benefits now. Evens everything out in a sad way.

My shop is. But i'm not going to pretend it's through out the barn ( I don't make 27hr unless on OT ). It's the senior guys ready to retire within 1 or 2 years. Still behind UPS. In the end, we don't have stupid teamcare.
