apply, apply, and apply. Look everywhere and apply everywhere. you will get a lot of rejections but don't give up. I filled out about 50 applications, got 5 interviews and 3 job offers.

Start submitting job applications the first day of CDL school. Ignore "experience required" and apply anyway; companies are bending their own hiring rules these days due to a shortage of quality applicants. Submit online applications before any phone calls so the companies have something to look at if you do call later.

TWIC is for entering sea ports, chemical plants and some military facilities. If you don't have a TWIC card, you may wait hours for an escort to enter these facilities, plus they charge maybe $150.00, give or take, for the escort service.
