Hi again,
Is it true that the DOT or prospective employer is now or will soon be adding high cholesterol levels to the medical "don't pass go" list?
If so, will it be treated like "if your personal doctor clears you" you would be ok?

The guy I heard it from has been driving for 30 years. He says its a new check/concern that's happening now, or in the very near future. I start school this Monday the 20th!

Just remember, a company has to meet at least the minimum standards for the Med card. They can require higher standards if they wish. If you don't meet their higher standards, you might not be hired. And you have no recourse.
