I've been hearing on the Kevin Rutherford show on Sirius that there is something "huge"coming to trucking gps'come first quarter 2015. He's not saying what, but says if you can wait, it will totally be worth it. Should be interesting

Mark, I haven't disappeared because my problems with my 720 went away. I honestly feel like I am screwed because I can't convey my message properly for some reason.

For those who say my trails filled up my "memory", I hooked up the 720 to my computer yesterday and checked internal free space which is almost 300MB. So, my "memory" issue is NOT due to low internal storage. My issue is in fact the RAM in the device, lacking the ability to run the GPS for more than 18 hours now between crashes. I am attempting to upload a picture I took of the newest development in my situation, which is a new box that popped up. I'm not sure what else to do now but I definitely am reluctant to buy a new gps when my current one is acting like such a dud. I've done the D&R on it every time I've hooked it to the computer and the only files that always seem to have an issue are files like tip_1, tip_23, etc. Nothing that seems overly important. I'm not sure if tapatalk uploaded my pic or not.

How often do you restart the device? I turn mine off after every shift (normally 14 hours) and leave it off while I sleep and have no such problems.

I see no picture if you attempted to upload one.

Here's the image I guess I had to shrink it. Anyways it gets restarted daily.

I guess you don't get told when an image you're uploading from tapatalk is too large. It just fails.

From JFK in Queens NY, I678 NB/WB to i495 gives multiple low clearance reports when set to 13'6"

    I fit without a problem.

    Walmart
    1550 Blake Ave
    Albert Lea Mn

The address is from my 520. My 520 took me to Home Depot....... I-35 Exit 11, go west 1/2 mile, left onto Blake Ave, 0.3 left on Consul St, 350ft on right.....is Home Depot. The actual Walmart is I-35, Exit 11, go west 1/2 mile, right on Blake Ave and the Walmart is on the right, less than half a mile.

The rest areas on CA99 in Turlock, CA are listed as being eastbound/westbound. This is unnecessarily confusing since 99 is considered to be a north-south highway even if it does go SE/NW.

I have never been to the poi factory, it came from RM. There are no warnings heading northbound, but they are there southbound. Two examples: CA99 southbound ~ Merced county mile markers 9 and 2.

Of course it could just be my 14-month old map database -- when are they going to release the update?

Is anyone else getting a little cheesed off with RM's business practises by not upgrading the previous units in a timely manner and wanting everyone to buy new units.
I for one am not subscribing to this type of behaviour and won't fork over another penny to them.

double yellow and moosc Thank this.

This is viewed as a Custom POI. I would ask them how often they update their Database?

The Map data you have already includes these low clearances, but the TND just routes around them.

    Thanks,
    Mark
