Schneider Chat Room version 2.0

Put in my 2 week notice yesterday. Finally got hired on with a chemical company that has their own private fleet. Been wanting to work here for over 8 years. Very hard to get on as they have almost 0 turnover. Going to run local on a dedicated account and they will train me for tankers. Really looking forward to this next step of my career.

At least they are trying. Given the amount of money the local companies pay in this area, I don't see myself leaving anytime soon as they don't pay even close to what I am making now, so I will take the free retention bonus, will make for a nice down payment on the next bike.

 

So my next load is whacked and seems to be ilogical. Pu Ashley furniture pre loaded archdale nc And then it drops in Jacksonville Florida train rail yard. Ultimate customer is in tamarac fl is Miami Florida area. Doesn't seem cost efficient. I would gander I could run it to receiver cheaper n faster.

Got a new driver on our account yesterday, I have the pleasure of training him....I am in total disbelief. Some things this company....and our government do, is amazing. I thought they wanted to make trucking safer? It is amazing.
