    Hi everybody,

will lll I am a new truck driver with 5 months experience, was working with a big trucking company!!
based on the evaluation system, I was laid off because I had 3 preventable accidents!! :(

now ow I am looking for job where else, I did learned from my mistakes, now when I apply for job with other companies do I report these accidents or not, since it doesn't show on my MVR (DMV-H6)??

my second question, these accidents, could I some how delete them from my record?? How??
and for how long would it be in my record before it gets deleted
when would the companies, consider it part of the past experience!!!

i am feeling down and need every possible advise

    thank you

You should report them to your prospective companies, but if they are not on your MVR and you have proof that you were not at fault, you should be in a good spot. Do not fail to disclose anything, this is lying by omission and is still lying in their eyes. Good luck

Also there is a way to purge your driving record of all negative information after so long; in california it is 3 years. But it have no way of getting you the info since I don't know what state you are in.

    You were not laid off.
    You were fired.
    Gigantic difference.
    Don't soft sell it.

That's going on your DAC, which is like a credit report except it's for a driver's record and it's forever.

What kind of accidents were they? Sometimes it takes a while for those things to show up on your MVR depending on whether or not they are reportable.

If say if you'd truly learned anything after the first one there wouldn't have been a 2nd or 3rd and and for sure not so soon after the 1st one.

Youve certainly painted yourself into into a corner that's for sure.

It may not be on your mvr but if you were working for one of the 'big trucking companies' and were let go for it then it WILL be on your DAC and you won't be able to hide from it.

Look at some small mom and pop companies around you locally that don't use DAC and try to sell yourself face to face. Maybe local construction or dump/asphalt/concrete companies. Or maybe western express.

With 3 in 5 months you've limited your options greatly. Good luck.

It's only going on your DAC if your former company uses HireRight. Pray that they don't.
