Actually most new trucks can operate on $2/mile and keep at least .90 after all expenses if they run the truck correctly and watch fuel mileage.
Can you do that in a 20 year old Pete running 75 everywhere? No. But new aero trucks with good fuel management can do it all day long and twice on Sunday's if needed.
So if you ran like that you'd clear almost 100,000 in a year. I can live on that.

It's really simple. There are lp drivers making .80+cpm for all miles. They are successful. You cannot argue with those results.
I dont care care if in paying the companies bills. I don't care if I'm paying too much for the truck. Even with my extended home time I'm making easily over $80000 a year.mattbnr Thanks this. -

It's a fact that all businesses have failures and successes. It's well documented. If we always stopped doing stuff because someone else failed then we wouldn't ever do anything because someone has failed at absolutely everything.

Why do I care if 80% fail anyways? Honestly. That number, which is the same for all new business not just trucking, proves some people should NEVER go into business for themselves.
