If a C15 twin turbo engine is rebuilt with a C16 platinum kit is it a 15.8 litre engine then?

It's been a while since I dug into my specs book but have I been bass ackwards for a while???
Either way you sir are correct CAT got it incredibly right with the twin turbo motors strength wise...just too bad the epa completely screwed it up. I know of a couple 15.2L converted back to a single that I can't keep up with...least not with my factory file. -
15.8 has 6.75 stroke cranks but different rod journals. 15.8 uses larger diameter pistons with thinner linners. Blocks are about the only thing they share in common and a few other parts. -
