I ‘ve been in trucking for 12years and in the Frac Sand businessfor the last 7 years hauling in South TX, East TX, Oklahoma and New Mexico andhas made pretty good money. I’ve been leased to a company making 80% and theytaking 20%. We hauled Frac Sand in SouthTx, New Mexico, N. Dakota, OK and Pennsylvania. I think it’s about time for meto get my own direct contract. I’ve saved up a pretty good some of money overthe 7 years plus have an excellent line of credit and I have 4 trucks with myown equipment. I have a couple of questions I would like to ask.
    1) Do anyone know of any other companies other thanHalliburton I can get my own contract with?

    2) I was told that detention billing is up to $85.00per hour but Halliburton only pays $55.00 per hour…..What’s the normal and isit set be each company you contract with.

    3) Is it possible to contract with more than onecompany at time?

    4) What’s the minimum amount of trucks I may needto my own contract? ( I have the ability to get four more trucks and businesspartners that makes the total 15 to 20)

    5) What’s the minimum insurance requirement I willhave to have to get my own direct contract?

Roy Struble trucking gives you a 400 dollar per day guarantee hauling frac sand in Pennsylvania. That is the going rate for a company driver hauling frac sand in Pennsylvania. There is no money doing that work in Texas or North Dakota that is why all those sand companies are bringing their trucks here to Pennsylvania. On the other hand, in North Dakota hauling water pays double or triple what it pays here in Pennsylvania.

Up in my area the guys are running 12 hour shifts.
$400 for a 12 hour shift is a gravy run.
