I don't think we have met. I just want to give you a hearty thank you for posting what you did. I post about my goings on here, good or bad, it's great to hear someone else enjoying the ride. Safe travels to both you and your wife. Be safe and God bless.

Like JB my KW gets a bath nearly every week. Its called taking pride in yourself. The office notices, the customers notice -to the extent that Groveport has told me we have the nicest equipment they see- amd most importantly the public and DOT see it. The door may say Abilene, but the driver is all they see. Me personally, I like my chrome and shiny paint!

I swear the dirty trucks with bugs all over the windshield and dashboard overflowing with crap get inspected more often :biggrin_25525:

Swapped trailers at 5:30 this morning. I promise, I'm not going to get into a long drawn out rant about this fiasco. All I'm going to say is at 11am yesterday morning when me and the other driver spoke we both had 550 miles to go to Amarillo. We got there at 10pm. They got there at 5:30 this morning. All I heard Kellan say this morning was now he knows why the company had this repower planned. We left with 1320 miles to delivery in Tracy. We will be there about 4am for our 7am delivery. Right now we just switched drivers here in Kingman Az. Kellan will take it the rest of he way.

We got our preplan earlier. After we unload we need to dead head 120 miles north to Windsor Ca and pick up a load of wine going to Richmond for Tuesday. We'll be dropping it in the yard Monday afternoon. The paid mileage on this load is 3025 miles. Time for bed.

The Challenger and runningman0661 Thank this.

You put it nicely, John. I was going to say, " Well bless y'all's heart." Must be nice to live in the perfect bubble. The rest of us are human with all the imperfections that go along with it.

Exactly why I don't team!! Hope it goes well for you guys. Lee should do ok for most of the trip, it's just the NYC part you're worried about, right???

    JohnBoy Thanks this.

Tell him to go the long way across the GW since it's smoother and you can sleep...lol
