I did turn the bluish 389 Fairchild truck in a good month ago. I now have a 2000 379 Pete that belongs to a good friend of mine. I have done two trips North and will leave tomorrow for the third trip in that truck. Looks like you got yourself a large car too. Did you switch companies? I saw quite a few System trucks in BC on the last trip hauling Genie lifts North.

    Rugerfan Thanks this.

It's a short good largecar lol like a mini me but we run mostly all long hoods. All the new trucks are long hoods. I went to work for Mike Lowrie out of Dixon back in May

It's too bad that SOUTH EAST CARRIERS A DUD thread got closed. It was very entertaining to read those comments. I myself think very highly of SEC
Tomorrow morning I am turning in my truck so I can go do some other things with my life for awhile. The owner of the company told me I will
always have a job waiting for me when i want to return. No this isn't a perfect job but all in all they are much better than most trucking companies.

Good luck Air Breeze. I'm gonna be running to Washington state, 3252 miles and deliver on Tuesday. Gonna try to get a load to Hotlanta afterwords. Keeping my fingers crossed that the weather holds out.

May you new adventures bring you wealth and happiness AirBreeze.

Joe, now I am real confused.... You want to go back to the South? Just a couple weeks ago you were all tweaked about being stuck down that way?

    Air Breeze Thanks this.

It's a money thing. If I can grab a load from WA to ID, that's another 490 miles, and then to Atlanta, that's another 2250, and it delivers Sunday. That's like 6200 miles on one check. It's all about me being a little greedy. Lol.

That makes sense. I'm of the same mindset. 1k mile run Cincy to DFW done. Current run 1500 miles Waco to Victorville drop Friday. Should be able to multi-pick near Bakersfield then back to OH for another 2k miles + a couple hundred accessory dropping next Wed.

I'd rather not go to the south, but that's where the miles are going. Can't complain about money, you know.
