That's really not as important as wether or not the device the driver was using was being used properly (setup correctly and in "truck mode"). Any "trucker GPS" could potentially lead you down such a path if you do not bother to "set it up" correctly out of the box (and leave it that way). And again, this is why a lack of common sense behind the steering wheel is the problem, not a GPS device.

This ranks right up there with the Conway driver who left his truck parked on the railroad tracks in PA while he ran inside to ask for directions and a train came along and wiped out the truck and trailer.Last edited: Nov 13, 2014
