Yeah well that's a big problem everywhere,everyday.
No one is talking about blatantly hammering down the road at unsafe speed.
Speedometers are off by 2-4mph on a lot of different vehicles..that's a fact.
But as to the case above I'm sure there was other issues with the case.
You'd have to be a moron to plead guilty to something like that.

It never fails when you talk about driving down the road someone brings up LAWYERS.
That's the problem with this world..Lawyers and Psychologists adding more BS for people to believe.

Actually 10 people were killed in the accident. The 77 year old truck driver was driving 4 MPH UNDER the speed limit, and was sentenced to 30 DAYS in jail, and 10 years of electronic home monitoring.

The south, texas on east to avoid garbage weather in the northeast.
or around NYC within 100 miles radius but NOT in NYC or long island.
I have family in Florida and NYC, it would be nice to see them more often.

I was going on memory from the Springfield newspaperinterview with his first lawyer. He was going 70 in a 65. I looked for thearticle and couldn’t find it. He was facing 10 counts of negligent homicide. [7 years each] I recall AWG [who he drove for} fired him because he was speedingwhich left him with having to foot his lawyer fee himself. Was fired forbreaking company policy [ speeding was a violation of the law] I did see thelawsuit settlement was for 62.7 million. Who paid ? No clue I’m guessing AWGand the insurance companies.

I don't understand the point of this, he made a driving mistake. He's not a criminal nor drove under the influence of anything.
Yes he made a mistake, it's bad enough he probably won't be able to get a driving job ever again but throwing even more garbage at him.. how does that help anything?
