I looked them up on the FMCSA site and they have a pretty good record.
-
Yeah just haven't seen or heard much about them. I am supposed to talk to them today and I am sure the recruiter will tell me how great they are but was hoping to hear from someone working there or that used to work there. Thank you for the info though. It's hard f in ding a decent company to work for anymore. They all want you to live in a truck anymore. Have a good day be safe.

jdw1572 Thanks this.

I don't know anything about them, but they've got some sharp looking trucks.

Steel Dragon Thanks this. -
Bumpy bump bump. Any info?
-
I'll take your bump.
Stallion is owned by a Christian and his wife raising a decent family in good times and bad.
I do not live too far from there. The way I understand them is they haul to Oklahoma and run around for a week and home on weekends. They keep relatively new equiptment on hand. I imagine they run to california as well. We are in a freight lane that supports the west coast and runs meat out of the meat triangle of Fort Collins Co, Dumas Tx Liberal Kansas, Garden City Kansas, Plainview Texas etc etc etc etc.
Anyhow.
I would have no problems signing on to Stallion provided that im still qualified to do this work. You don't seem too far from me neighbor. We will see how it goes.
Good luck!Dark_Majesty_06 Thanks this. -

I thought Stallion ran dry vans???Dark_Majesty_06 Thanks this. -
I guess they do run dry vans. I don't know what came over me talking about meat triangle. We are not too far from part of the USA where both coasts and Canada benefits from that kind of freight.
I'll have to eyeball the rigs when they come through now and then and get clarified soon. One outfit that does run Reefer (And how...) is Ronnie Dowdy in Batesville Arkansas. He has several hundred KW's and a large number of great dane reefers I think they were with the aluminum wheels to save weight and look good at the governor set at 72 and sufficient large car power to be in the center lane on the Grapevine or any other pulls that bring lessor company rigs to the knees.
Ronnie has a 1995 FLD120 with the 490 detroit and a 13 in it. I cannot remember exactly. I get fuzzy on all those transmissions. Anyhow... other than alignment issues once a year and a tendancy to overheat when the radiator cap got bad it was one of his absolutely best trucks I have ever, ever run (Outside of one Marion, One pete and one Diamond Reo plus a Two shift stick mack once) If I was to become a O/O that would be the truck to buy, fuel mileage be ######, it's going to be 6 or so give or take anyhow.Dark_Majesty_06 Thanks this.
