Did you see those 2 Navajo KW's rolled over a mile apart at the 28 & 29 mm in Ok? That was a bad day. Both loads came through the trailer roofs and both trucks were totaled. I had the pucker factor going real good yesterday morning. But, we made it.

Got both our drops off, dropped the empty trailer at a customer, bobtailed to Colton and picked up a produce load going back to Gordonsville Va. We have a 5am Friday delivery. Night night time for me.

Met master yoda at the Petro in little rock for breakfast. After we left my phone rings showing Abilene. It was Tim asking for help. We had a driver sitting at BH in Forest City refusing a load going to Brooklyn. Really? Last time I checked this was forced dispatch, with a 48 state carrier. Oh well, now my California load goes from 2570 miles to 3250 miles, an extra 10 cents per mile and an extra $50 for NYC pay, plus I get Kellan finished on his last part of training he was missing. Win win for all of us.

They should route that driver back to Richmond and have him clean out his truck.

We used to go there until too many crybabies refused to run NYC. I liked going to Boar's Head, that was an easy run. Did they expand it like they were talking about?

Y'all can have that NYC crap. I sure as heck don't want it. Or any of the NE, for that matter.

That sure doesn't go along with the policy printed on the wall by dispatch, you know the one, we were hired to run all 48, yada yada yada. In fact, the 3 loads I recused from drivers the last few weeks made me wonder if they should drive a cab locally instead of delivering freight, in all 48 sates.

Just got all my preplans to get me home. Unload in BH Brooklyn, reload BH Brooklyn for BH Groveport, reload BH Groveport for 3 drops around the house on Tuesday. I guess running NYC has its advantages. It comes to 2750 miles, 2 NYC pays, 10 cents per mile northeast pay and 2 extra stop offs. Then I park the truck Tuesday, enjoy thanksgiving, then get on the cruise ship Friday for 10 days.
