If you click the green speed indicator you will see the Local/Yard/Destination times with time zones. The Timezone was removed to make the clock bigger as it was a big request.

    Thanks,

There is a software update that fixes this. It doesn't update the maps -- just turns off that warning...

So to keep from sending updates once a year.. They turned the warning of, great idea.

Maybe they should just update the maps at least once a year.
That would be too easy I guess

For those who have LTM's. (not for 530/730). The new maps are available as of last week. Be sure to be on high speed internet.

The next part of the Map update will be in Jan 2015. For the update in Jan 2015, you will need to purchase an Micro SD card. I suggest a class 10 with a minimum size of 8gb. (it will show a 10 on the card). These can be purchased online or at box stores. Some competitors also require this for their map updates. I have seen them range from $10 to $25.

    https://www.sdcard.org/developers/overview/speed_class/

Here is an example of a one available at a box store. Make sure it is the MICRO SD Card. The adapter is not needed.

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sandisk...-red/5577759.p?id=1218665491504&skuId=5577759

The reason being a file has been updated that will bring the NaviMaps folder just above 4gb in size. The 510/710/520/720 only have an internal storage of 4gb whereas the 530/730 now have 8gb of internal memory.

Now you will ask if the NaviMaps are still on the internal and I am running the NaviMaps on the external, how will it know which mapset it will use? In the NaviMaps on the Micro SD card a new file will be added to force the default to the Micro SD Card. If you remove the Micro SD card you will be back on the old mapset.

The Dock will be modified to also know if you have Maps on an External Micro SD Card.

You will not need the Micro SD Card till the update in Jan 2015.

I have been testing along with the testers for 5-6 months running the External Micro SD Card and we have not found any issues relating to the maps running on an External Micro SD Card. Just make sure to try to get Class 10 cards.

Enjoy and again I am sorry this took so long to push out.

    Thanks,
    Mark

It is not a warning. It is a reminder that the mapset is over one year old. The message does not affect the operation of the TND.

    Thanks,
    Mark

The issues you list seem to be related to a file that may be corrupted.

You can turn off Auto Recalc under Preferences/Route/Recalculation.

Tolls have been fixed, you may to update.

Let me know if you want me to remote into your computer to look at the TND. I will need you to be on High Speed Internet and will take about an hour.

    Thanks,
    mark

Tried to launch the dock and Avast threw a conniption fit. This is new as of this week -- something about Win32 evo-gen...

I'm on a 64bit version of windows btw
