I totally agree with everything you said, but kb sees things differently.I on the other hand don't let dispatchers and companies intimidate me.I've had a few arguments with dispatchers at kb.Even quit twice and they called me back.Bet if I was to call Monday asking for my job back i'd start the next day.But i'm not that desparate for a job.

I've been with K&B 3 months and I have a good job. The OTR guys have it a little tougher and get paid a bit less than me. Most companies have different accounts/jobs and it's up to the applicant to find the best one for them.
I get a salary of $1145/week for about 50 hrs/ week of work. I drive 2100-2400 miles/week. That comes to about $23/ hour or $.49/mile. I think that is pretty good for hauling groceries. I'm supposed to be off 2 days every 2 weeks but it is more like 3 days and I still get full pay. The insurance is good too.
would recommend this company.pattyj and knuckledragger Thank this. -
Good deal glad kb is working out for you.

K&B is a #### company. Night dispatchers are complete ########. The guarantee sucks. 1145 per week isn't enough. They lie when recruiting and say you can easily out earn guarantee. I call ########. Not happening. Stay away from this company.

Because the ad said that you could easily out earn the guarantee patty. I found that to be a bold faced lie. What didnt you understand? Now I run between 3500-4000 miles a week with my current company. Life is better here. K&B was a complete waste of time and effort. I'm betting you work for them in some capacity.

Hey, still with K&B almost 1 1/2 years now.
I guess they work the new guy harder or they were short of drivers when I started.
Now, I average 42 hours week (over the last year) and get 1200/week - every week, guaranteed. Any time I choose, I'll stay out and get 1400. I only drove 98.000 mile in the last year which comes to 65CPM for all miles.
Excellent maintenance, easy job, great relationship with dispatch (that took a little work) and over $28/hr for all my time.
I know there are ways to make more each year but for an easy, low stress, low hours job ...this is pretty darn good. -
I've been recording videos for a fututre YouTube project. Here is a more detailed response to this thread in video form, enjoy:
