The T5B'/TxC's/x10/x20/x30 were never meant to be an EOBR for E-Logs. They were there simply as a guideline for personal use. They simply do not meet the requirements for an EOBR.

The maps were delayed for the x10's/x20's if you have LTM's, but with this map update pushed last week the LTM's will be the same as the x30's models.

    Thanks,
    Mark

No one was happy they did not have the maps.

No one is happy they now have the maps.

If you don't wish to buy the MicroSD card you don't have too. You simply will be on an older version without the new Junction Views.

Can we quit complaining about the maps. They are out if you have LTM's.

Can we quit complaining about what is/is not put in for hardware. No one can see what is available for the market 3-4 years down the line. They simply use what is available at the time. Last year RM did not know they were going to redesign the Junction View file.

You will find issues with your truck that the manufacture should have done also and your truck cost a lot more than the TND. In fact you can find fault with anything you buy and wonder why the manufacture did not think 3-4 years ahead of their time and add that also the product.

Let's get this thread back on track.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I may just be misunderstanding mark, but the new maps are slated for january for the 520/720 from my understanding. And you need an SD card for the new junction views?

I just ran an update, got walmartpoi update, and last weekish I got a 30something mb update, neither are large enough to be map updates.

I wouldn't have been happy with the delay but would have stopped complaining if the map update showed some evidence of being a map update. But the RM is still not routing on two, 2-year old major sections of the Laredo-Detroit corridor (us 24 & Tx130) & I have a feeling that if I checked all the Texas & California towns that, over the last year & a half, I reported now use truck bypasses -- I would still get routed through downtowns.

For anyone else who has yet to download the lastest maps: See how long your download takes. The file is supposedly 40+mb but it took me only 20 seconds on a 3g network (would have expected a minute or three). All I can tell for sure is I have a walmart poi file...

I worked with a user last night and it did push the new maps. On the Dock you have the update button, but the one to the right of it should show a map update available. Do the map update first, then do the regular update button.

If after the map update and the TND booting up you get an error of the maps did not transfer completely let me know. I will let you know what file to delete to remove that message. RM is looking at why that message is showing up.

Make sure on the Dock on the right side it shows LTM = Yes.

This map update will fit internally on the x10/x20 models. In Jan with the Micro SD Card the Dock will push the maps to the Micro SD Card along with the new JV file.

    Thanks,
    Mark

My button to the right of the update button just says 'traffic everywhere', my traffic subscription is expired, but no option for a map update. Top right also says "You have the latest rand mcnally maps"

Does the Dock show on the right - Lifetime Maps Subscribed - yes or no?

If Yes, I need the serial number of your unit.

    Thanks,
    Mark
