I'm still failing to see your point... once in awhile the inevitable happens (traffic, weather, etc). What you just complained about were things within your control.
My TMC experience.

And off loaded by 930? If I was at the consignee the night prior, if it wasn't a tarp load, 9 out of 10 times I would unsecure the load that night. In the morning when the employees show up, usually between 6 and 730 I would pull in and be off loaded fast! I would have my empty in by between 7 and 8 and be on my way immediately. I would do 5 and sometimes 6 loads in a 5 day period by hustling, I never really complained because I was taking home great paychecks!Gunner75 Thanks this. -

When I 1st read it, I thought you were saying you were losing time getting unloaded.

Been driving solo for 3 months, thats three times longer than you. And I have yet to run into issues as bad as you say. With the exception of shippers taking several hours to load me like Bull Moose tube or AK Tube, it happens. But Ive never not gotten 5 loads or a couple of 6 load weeks unless I was broke down. If youve gotten to the consignee's the night prior, you would never have issues with getting unloaded asap, so long as you wasnt waiting in line behind others. Even then, you should get unloaded fairly quick.
You need to understand, these trucks are not your daily commuter car/suv. They are under extreme stresses, therefore they are going to breakdown a hell of a lot more than a normal car or pick up. You as a truck driver are going to have to learn to fix minor issues on the trucks if you want to keep moving. If you cant do that, then by all intensive purposes, you will fail as a truck driver. That is only on you, no one else. In the end. There is a hell of a lot more to your story than you are telling us. Why? Because I can tell you not one person Ive spoken with as a TMC driver tells me anything like your telling us here. I think you screwed up enough that they were looking to get rid of you, and you just quit to save yourself the embarrassment of getting fired. -
