Loadboards: DAT-360 vs Members Edge

Can I get some input as to the difference between DAT-360 & MembersEdge ("ME"). I use Internet TruckStop ("ITS") & ME loadboards. ... I know ME is OOIDA powered by DAT. But what I would like to know is whether ME shows the exact same loads as 360. Any one recently familiar with both?

 

they are exactly the same. If you join OOIDA you get ME for 5 bucks a month cheaper than DAT and truckers edge....so duh join OOIDA.

 

Not quite. MembersEdge (www.mymembersedge.com) is the OOIDA discounted payment plan for TruckersEdge (www.truckersedge.net) and those two are exactly the same except the OOIDA discount of $5 per month.

DAT 3sixty is a much more expensive product that cost several hundred dollars per month (http://www.dat.com/Solutions/Carriers.aspx)

 

Ed... Is the added expense worth what you get from the 360? What added bells and whistles do you get for the added $$?

 

Well for starters are all the loads on 360 also on the other 2? From what I understand they are not. But I haven't verified this so.

 

Issues with Members Edge:


- You can't see posted rate until You click on load and small window pop put,


- when You look for loads one day ahead, like You looking today for loads loading tomorrow

..it will show today loads too, I think it takes for consideration when load was posted by broker,

..same for weekend loads, You check Saturday and see Saturday and Sunday loads

The company I am leased to, is a member of DAT and ITS... I am a member of OOIDA so, would it benefit me more to go through OOIDA or just sign up as a user with DAT and/or ITS?
From what I have read, DAT is the biggest load board out of all of them but, does that make them better? BTW, I pull a step

 

Dat has called me five times about upgrading to 360, only thing I take away from what there telling me is when a load is posted it refreshes the page and you see it before others by a few min, also you get the spot market tools about rates.

I can't see paying over $300 for a load board I think there nuts!

 

I've been using TruckersEdge for several years now. It's $80/month and I honestly don't know the difference between it and all the others except DAT 360 is way more money.

 

Why are you paying so much for truckersedge? It's $30 and some change if you're a member of ooida. You need to re-visit that with them and get your cost down.
