Got to know my Step and put all the securement equipment where I wanted it. Had to go through everything, what a mess but, I am good now except: I need a new strap winch for my trailer, 2 4" straps, 100 bungee's, a new side box for the trailer and new locks all around. Finally found all the keys to all the locks but none work except for my glove box's. When the company owner saw the trailer,,,,he was upset, to say the least. This was a company trailer and none of the damage was ever mentioned to the owner. I get to replace what is broken or missing and the owner is going to bill it to the driver that was pulling it last.

Anyway,,, Got down to Bristol to get my new truck and trailer tires but, again a business drops the ball. They didn't have my truck tires, even though they were ordered a month ago... The positive; my trailer is legal and so, I booked a load of cement block for peanuts and will deliver it in the morning. Only going to get better from here.

I would post some picks but I don't think I do it right... It just takes too dang long. Maybe someone will walk me through a simpler process of uploading pic's.

Use the Go Advanced link below. That opens up several lines of icons.

To attach a photo, use the icon on the right side of the second row that looks like a stretched photo next to the globe with a red X on it.

When it opens, chose your photo using the Choose File link In the From Computer section (unless you want to use something from the Internet.)

Once it is listed, click on the small Upload Photo link.

That should do it. How long it takes depends on your device speed and your internet connection. Depending on the pic, it can take a while.

View attachment 75360 you don't even need to "Go Advanced", did it from the reply box...this was a test and wow,,,much faster than how I used to do it,,,thanks denalidad. I will have to send some pics of my new trailer pics tomorrow...

Couldn't find a load good enough to take out of Charlotte today so, I decided to take a load tomorrow and get my APU serviced and bunk heater fixed, plus find some parts I need for my Step. While getting my APU serviced I got a call from the broker and she said the customer doesn't want the load until after the 1st. She told me they were trying to change the customers mind so, she said she would get back to me. A little bit later she called again and said we were good to go for pickup but, she still hadn't heard about the COD. I told her to send the rate sheet to my company and she did. Than hours go by and I get a call from the customer saying they canceled the load,,,,man was I bleep! This always seems to happen when I pick a load that I raise the rate more than $500 than what they offered. They say yes than bam, load got canceled before the rate sheet was sent but, this time it was sent so I will get $250 for being hired but not used... Now I have to start again in the AM...

The problem with doing it this way is YOU can see the attachment, but this is what everybody else sees when we click on the Attachment link.

Man,,,I have to say, I am just happy as a porcupine in a balloon factory now that I have this Step Deck... It is just another goal that I have reached and so so so so so so so glad I don't have to deal with the Reefer Industry anymore. I have only hauled 3 loads, still on #3, and have been treated as I remember being treated when I pulled flat before. I love the flatbed industry because of this, and the camaraderie...

Pulled 3 containers all together,,,easy money it was. Now I have a load of fiberglass pipe going to WV, which I made it to in 2 days, sitting just 20 miles from the delivery now. Deliver Monday so, will get a restart out of the deal. Bought fuel for $2.98 a gallon last night, cheapest diesel I have ever bought...lol
